| Descripción del viñedo | Château Cheval Blanc: The most accessible from Saint-Emilion … Part of the present Château Cheval Blanc would be a former inn, in which King Henry the fourth would have stayed. In honor of his king, the landlord decided to rename it " Auberge du cheval blanc ". The name was taken up for the Château Cheval Blanc to designate the extension of the old inn. In 1832, Ducasse acquires 15 hectares of the Figeac’s area, and then a few years later, another 15 acres were added.
