Château Nenin

Château Nénin : Since 1997, Château Nénin has been the property of the Delon familly, also owner of Château Léoville Las cases, in Saint-Julien, and Château Potensac, in Ordonnac (Médoc appellation). This cru has belonged to the same family since 1840. Indeed, the Delon bought the Château Nénin to their cousins Despujols. Located on the high shelf of Pomerol, the Château is south faced and allows a perfect maturing of the grapes. The grand vin of Château Nénin is assembled from merlot and cabernet franc, also used to assembled the “second vin”, Fugue de Nénin. Today, the property has 34 hectares, with 28 dedicated to the grape culture. He has been straightened in 1999 with the purchase of the half part of the old Château Certan-Giraud. The other half belongs to the Moueix vineyards and is now known as Château Hosanna.
